Description of the Project:
This project is affilated with the FIRST Robotics Competition team 1678 - Citrus Circuits. During the 2021-2022 season, I led the prototyping, design, CAD, assembly, and optimization of the intake mechanism. This season we finished as the 5th allience in the world at the Houston, Texas competition venue. The experience at the world championships was great and I am so fortunate to have been able to go. I learned a lot from other teams and students, I talked with many company representatives at the Innovation Fair, and I got to experience the competativeness of making it to Einstein (top 6 team alliences) for the 8th year in a row (in terms of team history).
Purpose of Project:
The purpose of this project was to create a mechanism that went on a world champion team robot. In all honesty, I did not view the project this way. I did not think about upholding a team legacy or reaching team standards. I simply went into it thinking that I needed to do the best I could.
